The uppers are made from Nubuck: a top-grain leather that has been buffed to a velvet like softness, and is extremely durable. The Nubuck upper is enhanced with details like the decorative lace-like overlays, made from patent leather, that outline the instep, heel, and toes, as well as the polished studs below the instep.
